Tabitha Sells, Graduate Clinician
Tabitha Sells is a graduate clinician pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at East Tennessee State University. A native of Kingsport, Tabitha began her career in Human Resources and has held various advocacy roles within the community. In each of these roles, a consistent theme of compassionate interpersonal care emerged, which inspired her transition into the mental health field.

Tabitha’s varied background and lived experiences have equipped her with valuable insights, enabling her to connect with a diverse range of clients. She is passionate about exploring the complex issues of life, love, and loss in their many forms. Her approach is warm and non-judgmental, providing a confidential space for clients to navigate life’s complexities.

Believing that struggle should not carry a stigma, Tabitha recognizes that we are all multifaceted and continually “becoming.” Her practice incorporates a trauma-informed approach and integrates existential and internal family systems perspectives. Tabitha helps clients face life changes with compassion, bravery, and acceptance, addressing a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, religious and spiritual exploration, and relational and family dynamics.

She understands that for some, counseling may be a relief, while for others, it may present internal barriers to sharing their experiences. She is dedicated to supporting those who may be hesitant to seek counseling and hopes to meet all clients where they are.
Tabitha sees adolescents, adults, and seniors, and is committed to walking alongside her clients on their unique paths toward healing, wholeness and self-discovery.
